On Sunday, September 11, 2016, the Greater Park Hill Community (GPHC), along with Park Hill neighbors, businesses and community organizations, will celebrate the annual Park Hill Home Tour & Street Fair. This Denver tradition began in 1978 when a local Realtor organized a tour of Park Hill homes to showcase the rich history and diverse architecture of the neighborhood. Over the years, the Home Tour & Street Fair has grown and evolved into a community event that, in addition to featuring beautiful homes and historic landmarks, includes over 100 vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, children’s activities, and a wine & beer garden.

The Park Hill Home Tour & Street Fair directly benefits the Greater Park Hill Community (GPHC), a non-profit that promotes the character and vibrancy of Park Hill; provides resourcesinformation and advocacy; and preserves quality of life and the history of the neighborhood through community participation. They provide essential community services including a food pantry for neighbors in need and a weekend food program for students. They advocate as a voice for the community, promote and sponsor neighborhood events, and assist in projects that help keep Park Hill beautiful.

The Park Hill Home Tour & Street Fair is a critical component of GPHC as it funds approximately 30% of the annual budget. With these funds, GPHC continues to support neighborhood safety programs, food assistance programs, community events, and the Greater Park Hill News.
